Programmes
We run a number of programmes and activities focused on different aspects of our mission to unlock new opportunities for people in places hit hard by globalisation and automation. Read on to find out how we’ve been moving closer tackling this problem:

Venture Builder
In October 2018, our second Venture Builder programme began. 50 Founders were selected to become the cohort of bright minds dedicated to building new mission-led, scalable, commercial businesses in this mission. Here are some of their stories:
Globalisation & Automation Fellows
The Fellows are leaders in their respective fields who are actively engaged with Zinc’s Mission 2. They help the Zinc team to drive the programme and support the founders on their journey of building an impactful, ambitious and successful business. The Fellows are joined by over 120 especially selected mentors and experts.

“Zinc’s mission 2 programme was there for me when I made the huge leap from a steady, corporate senior IT role to the world of social impact startups. I met the smartest, and most tenacious person, Violaine Pierre, who became my co-founder who shares my passion for fair employment. Zinc provided a safe space for us to test and learn our ideas and our startup BelleVie was born as a result. BelleVie supports older adults to thrive by reinventing the future of care work. Zinc changed my life and I have no regrets!”
